Objective Level 3/4: Explain how living things are suited to their particular habitat and how they respond to environmental changes both natural and human induced.
Specific Objectives:
- Describe what Christchurch was like in the past.
- Explain why ecosystems are valued and give reasons for their protection.
- Name several creatures that live in a ecosystem and why they live in this habitat.
- Describe the relationships between plants and animals, and the implications for people living in and around a ecosystem.
- Identify actions they can take to help protect ecosystems and other waterways.
